## How manger shows up in the TCF and TEF

Manger keeps an e before a and o (nous mangeons, je mangeais) to keep the soft g sound. It is a model for every -ger verb.

-   Nous mangeons ensemble le dimanche. _We eat together on Sundays._
-   Quand j'étais petit, je mangeais chez ma grand-mère. _When I was little, I ate at my grandmother's._
