Before you buy anything

Run your most recent practice results through the score converter and check the calendar with the study planner. Both are free and neither asks for an email address. If they tell you that you are already where you need to be, the right amount to spend here is nothing, and we would rather you found that out before paying than after.

If you would rather have someone else look at the numbers, the placement call is free and some candidates leave it with a plan and no purchase.

OUR COMMITMENT

What we promise, and what we will never claim

Your result is decided by official examiners we have no contact with, so no honest preparation service can promise you a score. What we can commit to is the work: the corrections, the practice papers and the teaching hours you paid for.

What we do not claim

  • We do not guarantee a TCF Canada or TEF Canada score, an NCLC level, or a number of CRS points.
  • We do not register you for the exam, and we have no influence over marking, exam dates or seat availability.
  • We are an independent preparation service, not an examiner and not an official test centre.

Our commitment, in writing

  • On the live tiers, every writing and speaking task you submit is marked by Adèle herself, never by software. Self-paced includes a model answer for every task instead.
  • Prices are in Canadian dollars and include any tax that applies. Exam registration is never included: that fee goes to your test centre.
  • We will never invent a testimonial, a statistic or a pass rate.
Questions

What buyers ask before paying

Is exam registration included?

No, and no preparation service can include it. You register for the TCF Canada or the TEF Canada directly with an approved test centre and pay that centre's fee, which is set locally and varies by country. Budget for it separately, because in some countries it is a significant sum on top of preparation.

Why is everything priced in Canadian dollars?

Because the outcome you are buying is denominated in Canadian immigration terms, and a single currency means the price is the same whether you are sitting the exam in Casablanca, Douala, Paris or Montreal. Your card issuer will convert at their rate.

Do the live tiers renew automatically?

No. Small-group live is sold as one 8-week block and one-to-one as one block of 10 sessions. Both are single payments for a fixed amount of teaching. There is no subscription, nothing recurring, and nothing to cancel.

What does self-paced actually get me?

The lesson library for all four exam sections, timed full-length practice tests, model answers for every writing and speaking task, and the NCLC score tracker. What it does not get you is a person reading your work, which is the thing that makes the live tiers cost more.

Can I move up a tier later?

Yes, and it is a common path: start self-paced, discover that writing is the weak ability, and add live teaching for the weeks before the exam. Raise it on a placement call and it gets sorted out rather than handled as a fresh purchase.

Do you offer refunds?

The refund window, the notice needed to reschedule a live lesson and the turnaround we commit to on marked work are set out in the terms, and those are the commitments we will actually honour. If something has gone wrong, write to us before you dispute a charge.

Is there a cheaper option?

Yes, several, and we have written about them. The free tools on this site cost nothing and will tell you where you stand, and the alternatives pages set out honestly when self-study or a marketplace tutor is the better buy. If your four abilities are already at your target level, the correct spend here is zero.

Do you guarantee I will reach my target level?

No. Your result is decided by official examiners we have no contact with, and no honest preparation service can promise you a score, an NCLC level or a number of CRS points. What we commit to is the work: the teaching hours, the corrections and the practice papers you paid for.
