Privacy Policy

This document is not yet in force.

It has to be drafted and then reviewed by a lawyer before publication. Do not rely on this page: it creates no obligations, for you or for Français Prep.

Français Prep handles a sensitive combination of data: identity details, exam targets, and immigration intent. This policy has to describe that accurately rather than generically, and it needs review by someone qualified in the jurisdictions our candidates live in.

Points this must cover

  • -What personal data is collected at sign-up, booking, and payment, and the lawful basis for each
  • -That submitted writing and speaking work is personal data, how long it is retained, and who can access it
  • -Which processors are used for payment, scheduling, email, analytics, and support chat
  • -Whether data leaves the user's region, and the safeguards for any transfer
  • -Retention periods, and how to request access, correction, export, or erasure
  • -Cookie and analytics disclosure, with a genuine opt-out rather than a notice-only banner
  • -That candidates are frequently outside the EU and Canada, so GDPR, PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25 may all apply
  • -A contact route for privacy requests and the relevant supervisory authority
