What we promise, and what we will never claim

Your result is decided by official examiners we have no contact with, so no honest preparation service can promise you a score. What we can commit to is the work: the corrections, the practice papers and the teaching hours you paid for.

What we do not claim

  • We do not guarantee a TCF Canada or TEF Canada score, an NCLC level, or a number of CRS points.
  • We do not register you for the exam, and we have no influence over marking, exam dates or seat availability.
  • We are an independent preparation service, not an examiner and not an official test centre.

  • Prices are in Canadian dollars and include any tax that applies. Exam registration is never included: that fee goes to your test centre.

The questions candidates ask before choosing a tier

Can you guarantee I will reach NCLC 7?

No, and no honest preparation service can. Your TCF Canada result is decided by official examiners we have no contact with. What we commit to is the work: every writing and speaking task marked by Adèle, timed practice in the exam format, and a straight answer on whether your target level is realistic before you book a test date.

Do I actually need a course, or can I prepare on my own?

Plenty of candidates pass on their own, especially if they already work in French daily. Self-study usually breaks down in two places: nobody marks your writing, and nobody makes you speak under time pressure. If those are your weak sections, a course earns its fee. If your only gap is vocabulary, buy a book and keep your money.

Which tier should I choose?

Start from the gap between your level today and your target level. Self-paced suits candidates who are already close and genuinely disciplined. Small-group live suits most people, because a weekly class forces you to speak. One-to-one suits candidates with a fixed test date, a large gap, or a schedule no group timetable will fit.

How long before my exam should I start?

Book the assessment before you book the exam, not after. Once Adèle has seen one writing task and heard one speaking task, she can tell you roughly how many weeks of work sit between you and your target level, and whether the date you had in mind is realistic.

Is exam registration included in a tier?

No. You register for the TCF Canada directly with an approved test centre and pay that centre's fee, which is set locally and varies by country. We prepare you for the exam. We do not administer it, register you for it, or influence when seats open.

Do you prepare candidates for the TEF Canada as well?

Yes. The teaching overlaps heavily, because both exams assess the same four abilities. If you have not settled on an exam yet, read the TEF and TCF comparison first, then book an assessment and the plan gets built around whichever exam you sit.

What level does Express Entry actually need?

Most candidates aim for NCLC 7 in all four abilities, because that is the level commonly cited as the entry bar for additional French points and for French-language category draws. Confirm on the current IRCC pages the exact number of additional CRS points awarded for French, the English-language condition attached to them, and the minimum NCLC level required for French-language category-based selection. The TCF Canada score chart holds the conversion tables.

How long does a TCF Canada result stay usable?

Plan your test date around your application rather than the other way round: IRCC requires language results that are still recent when you apply. Confirm the current IRCC validity window for language test results, and the validity period France Éducation International prints on the TCF Canada attestation, which is stated separately.

Are the lessons taught in French or in English?

Classes run in French, because sitting in a French-speaking room is part of the preparation. Adèle switches to English when a grammar point genuinely needs it, and anything administrative can be handled in either language.

What happens if I miss my target and sit the exam again?

We make no promise about your result, because we do not mark your exam and have no contact with the examiners. What you keep is the work: every corrected writing and speaking task, the annotations, and your study plan stay with you, so a second attempt starts from what the first one taught you rather than from scratch.
