1. Comment obtenir une visite du logement ?

The questions come from the Français Prep course mock exams, written in the idiom of each exam rather than copied from any real paper. A mark here does not convert into a TEF or TCF score and is not an NCLC level: no official table converts a practice paper, and anyone offering you that equivalence invented it.

The most common thing candidates want is exercises with corrections, and the most common thing they get is exercises with an answer key. Those are not the same. A key tells you that the answer was C, which is useful exactly once. What transfers to the next paper is the reason: that the three wrong options reused the vocabulary of the document while the correct one rephrased it, or that the question turned on a single word like « sauf » that cancels everything before it.

So every question here comes with the reasoning rather than the letter. Answer, see immediately whether you were right, and read why. Nothing is timed, nothing is scored against you, and the corrections are not held back behind a signup, because a correction you cannot read is not a correction.

One warning about how to use it. Agreeing with an explanation feels like learning and usually is not. When you get one wrong, go back to the document and name the mistake you actually made: answered from general knowledge, matched a word instead of reading the sense, stopped at the first plausible option. The specific question will never appear again. The habit will appear on every page of the real paper.

When you want the pressure back rather than the reasoning, the same questions run as a full timed paper, which is the other half of the job.

Questions

About the question bank with answers

How many questions are there, and are they free?

158 in total, 78 for the TCF Canada and 80 for the TEF Canada, all free and all with the answer explained. There is no account, no email gate and no paid tier holding the corrections back.

Why does the explanation matter more than the answer key?

Because a letter teaches you nothing. Knowing that the answer was C tells you what to write on this question; knowing that the wrong options reused the exact wording of the text while the correct one rephrased it tells you what to do on the next forty. Every explanation here says why the right option is right, and where the others were built to catch you.

How is this different from the timed practice test?

Same questions, different purpose. The practice test runs a whole paper against the sixty-minute clock and marks you at the end, which is rehearsal. The bank gives you one question at a time with the reasoning immediately, which is study. Do the paper to find out where you lose marks, then use the bank on that kind of text.

What should I do when I get one wrong?

Do not simply read the explanation and move on, because agreeing with a correction feels like learning and usually is not. Go back to the document, find the words that made the right answer right, and name what you did instead: read a distractor that echoed the text, answered from general knowledge, or stopped reading at the first plausible option. The error repeats; the question does not.

Are the wrong options designed to trick me?

Designed to test you, which feels similar from the inside. The commonest pattern in both exams is a wrong option that copies the vocabulary of the document while the correct one paraphrases it, because the paper is testing comprehension rather than word-matching. Once you have seen that pattern twenty times you stop falling for it, and twenty is roughly what this bank gives you.

Can I use these for the TEF if I am sitting the TCF?

Yes, and it is worth doing once you have exhausted your own exam's questions. The document types overlap heavily, both papers rise in difficulty the same way, and comprehension does not know which exam it is being tested by. What does not transfer is timing and question count, so use the other exam's bank for practice and your own for rehearsal.

Is there a listening bank too?

No, and we would rather say why than pad this page. An honest listening question needs audio played once at natural pace, which we cannot supply here without recording it. The course lessons cover listening with a protocol built on free authentic audio instead.
